Growing up I was a big fan of SVO and Mick Webb. Well after the GT was dead this work in Ford enhancements gave us us hope and something to aspire to along with Wayne Drapers Phase 5 and Dick Johnston gear. I also remember the SVO Mustang at the time, but realizing of course it had no relevance to Mick's work.

    Spot on Colville,
Just as you pointed out it was a time of hope for us in Blue but it just never got the support it deserved, another of the "if only" FoA considerations never to be.

He can also take off the cost of the modifications from what ever its market value is unmodified too.

Regardless of the quality and tastefulness of the changes modifying rare collectibles devalues them.

Yes, the mods ( I thought ) where great and well executed which is why I shared them, but on this particular model its probably more valuable factory standard although this is not a 351 GT-F. Assuming they have not touched the engine /drive train all the other changes to the suspension, brakes and exhaust are easily restored. What I like about these enhancements is the owner has addressed many of the short comings we would have loved to see the factory do. To me the changes has really transformed the look, and no doubt drive-ability of the car without making it look 'modified'. I would personally pay a little more to have these enhancements but that's just me (only have to look at what I'm driving). I wouldn't buy a FG2 Pursuit to collect it. I actually think the past Super Pursuits are more desirable although not as fast. The dark horse collectible being the AU3 stroker Pursuit 250.

    Well said C.
I'm the same far prefer the additional enhancements compared to the stock form but in selling it that's a different scenario - a hipo model is a loss once tampered with.
He might be lucky getting near the figure but I'm being kind

This brings up my thought on a companies DNA in regards to their "performance" models.
When I think of it our own Fords have always been under rim/tyred
HSV progressed from similar to a more suitable proportion long ago, I know, FoA budget I suspect.
When you think of MB/Bimmer/Audi - their product always have the right rim/tyre/gaurd balance.

You're not wrong Maurie. Drives me insane seeing what Ford do with their rim/tyre/guard balance and stance. It hasn't looked right for a long time with the small exception of the T3 TS50 & BA/BF FPV's. I don't think its just down to a budget thing. I think its a global standard. They do the same on the imported models like the Mondeo to. That said, so do many other makes but no so much the prestige brands. BMW being one of the best proportions wise.

The BF2 SP in that colour is in my opinion the best looking Falcon ute ever sold.

Now one of those with a Miami fitted would be exceptional although I suspect it would be a rather difficult thing to do from an electronics aspect.

I agree with both of those points. An AU 250 Pursuit I'd restore and wrap in cotton wool.

Whereas an FG2 Pursuit I'd definitely modify. Here's proof

The problem with society today, is that nobody drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.
