Finally went to wsid there right now

I always keep it real so after the claims of stock fg xr6turbo times I decided to throw my stock air filter in as well as the tyres even spare wheel in boot first run 13.262 at 105mph 60 footer is 2.101
Next run with wheel spin 13.039 at 105.97 mph 60 footer 2.037. Stock tyres 36 psi. Still here but wheelspin is holding me back from a 12.9

That's incredible considering you didn't empty the boot. 1870kg is GTP weight.

Awesome times mate; well done. Obviously you will do better times with a cleaner launch - if you can get under 2.0s for the 60' you will definitely go sub 13.

Sticky rear tyres will do it. Or if you want to play with your pressures try 24 rear and 50 front.

But like you say the figure you have is in stock street driven form, and is repeatable time after time at every set of lights you encounter LOL. In fact the car will quite likely get off the ground quicker on the street - WSID is notorious for it's slippery launch pad.

PS. It's about time Ford made a V8 that could eclipse the T3 - we've been waiting for what? 10 years! LOL.

I will post youtube link when I get to computer but you hear it spin for .3 of a second on takeoff so a 12.9 is where I say the car is. My trip yesterday was more about fun but when the car went well I focused on seeing what a real dad mum driver does. Id say at best a 12.7 on a good track is realistic but Im more about reliabity nowadays and need it as a work car so I will leave the records to the horsepower kings for now who can afford broken transmissions. The 12.9 is there a 12.7 in a top run. Im going to get tuning software in due course and tune it myself and think seriously about much fatter rubber at the rear. If you think about it a fatter goid tyre wil get me to 12.7s
