    AU Windsor upper intake manifold

Hello guys, I've got myself one of these for my 302/351C:

The person I bought it off mentioned that the later Windsor upper half of the inlet manifold matches these ports, can anyone confirm if they look similar?

    Thanks much.

I do seem to recall a later series EFI Windsor having an upper that looked like that, yes

But "looking like" and actually bolting up and working are two different things. AU's used the 'Explorer' manifold I believe?

I thought as much, its a bit of a PITFA to source this Trickflow stuff locally.

It definitely looks like trickflow ports. All of the ford factory ones are oval or round.

You will have to measure the internal of the ports at the top too Damo, as the trickflow ones come in various sizes depending on which upper it is made for. Does it have a part number on it?

    This might help:

Geez, never seen one of those before.

It needs a dedicated Clevelend TF top half, the W one is different.

I think from looking at that pic and then looking at the box R intake, they look similar, the street versions seem to be smaller in the centre.

EDIT, looking again, it looks exactly the same as the BOX lower that is used for a clevor conversion.

The bolt patterns may line up but there will be a massive port size missmatch, weather that actually harms performance i dont know.

I've got a Windsor Box R sitting in the garage (future upgrade on race car) I will pull the box out later and get some photos for Damo.
