Yes absolutely. My point was that the assumption that the best must be a V8 is invalid.

MOTOR have made that statement, some will disagree, some will disagree vehemently.....

Having previous owned V8 and T6 FPVs and driven the FGx XR8, I ordered a Sprint 6. I already knew it would be the greatest Falcon ever made.....

I didn't see it that way. Given the brief of the cars then the 6 Sprint was always going to be a cracker. The turbo deserved to finish at its best and got the gong accordingly. The question being did the V8? Given that power didn't go over 351 for stated reasons the car I think is as good as it was allowed. Now if the team was able to put an intercooler etc, and tweak the suspension/tyre package to handle it would have it been better? We'll never know. What is certain is that Ford finished our nameplate off brilliantly. Congrats to all that have bought into that.

Having caught the flight to Shanghai only due to Sprint I bought Motor.
I have to read the Tribal Warfare article again to digest it more but flicking through to the end the last page is titled 9 Hottest Aussies.
    1. Sprint8 interesting comments not being the GTF by them.
    2. F2 HSV GTS
    3. BAGT
    4. SSV Redline
    5. V2 GTS Coupe - I would have rated the FGGT here.
    6. FPV F6 This for me should be over the redline.
    7. W427
    8. T3 TE50
    9. VT GTS

Yes I wasn't aware that page was there. Actually getting the electronic version to load half an edition was painlful enough.

    Good job M.
