Well the holders are, i did this to my sprint last weekend. $3.20 for two 3w wedge globes from supercheap. Unclip the holder that is under the dash, push in the globe and 'presto' all done!
Yeh did the work and found the holders. Have the globes and wiring ready to go. was going to do it today but got behind in my work. On the cards for during the week. Will take all photos whilst doing the job. Shouldn't take that long.

Finally got off my butt and did the job. So as promised put up the process.

Got these from eBay. Pretty cheap and simple.

The spaces for the lights are there but none of the wiring. So here are the pictures of where they are and then fitted. First the fuse holders.

The glovebox. For best results I would suggest pointing the lights towards the inside, not how it is in this picture. I did change it after taking this.

There are a number of easy places to feed the wiring.

Feed the main wiring up through the side panel and attach to the wiring on the A pillar. The red wiring attaches to the green and black to the dark blue. The picture shows a different wiring, but I changed it after this after discovering I had hoked up to continuous power!

Quickly checked that everything was OK.

Then fitted the covers back on (sorry about the back pics). Job done and didn't cost much.

I cant believe you didn't have the holders already!

That is just unreal of Ford. I would of thought as the Sprint is an XR base you would of had them. All i had to do was put some $3 globes in!

Really? That annoys me a bit then. A $56K car doesn't have them and the Sprint does? Surely the extra wiring and holders don't add that much to the cost of a vehicle!! The job was cheap but once again there little bit of finish is what really makes a car. Glad I did it but a little pissed to here that Ford put them in the Sprints.
