    Give the man a cigar.

Just because a car can smoke the first 4 gears, and I don't mean chirp them on the gear change, I mean leave rubber for hundreds of meters at high speed roll on acceleration,......... does not make it undrivable tootling around the neighbourhood!

Having said that, try lending the same car to an inexperienced "bullet proof" Peter perfect wannabe. Within 100km the car (and sadly the driver) would be no more! Dead.

Throttles are variable, regardless of grunt. The more grunt, the less throttle. And when even that is creating issues, you use a ratio to reduce the grunt applied to the wheels. Roundabouts in 4th gear at 30kmh. Take offs in 2nd. Overtaking manoeuvres in 6th. Easy.

It would be AWESOME to cruise and catch up NO DOUBT. At this stage have other commitments but plan on popping up for a day. As for Ed Curtis....Block went to Aussie cam (no other changes) and went 10.8 , down from 10.9, running out of fuel......not to mention his current PB's

Australian Muscle Car ... "It is a sensational high performance vehicle; a beautifully engineered and immensely capable four door Grand Tourer or 'GT' in the truest sense of that tradition."

No prize for guessing what car they were referring to ... OWN THE ROAD ...

I have actually driven Blockers GT and have to say it is a very tractable car to drive.....step on the loud pedal and it's all hands on deck....just awesome......

I have raced and smashed my coupe at Bathurst in 2003 and went back up to Bathurst later that year for the flying fifth down Conrod and ran 138 mph and had a ball......more people should get their GT's onto the track and enjoy them in the truest form they were designed for...
