    Show us your 2 wheels.

Ok apart from cars i grew up riding and racing Motocross!!

From the age of 13 i had bikes,

    First bike was a 1978 YZ80E:

    Then 1981 YZ100J:

    1985 YZ250S:

    1989 YZ250:

    1995 KX250:

    2000 YZ400:

Pulled up stumps with bikes in 2003 after knee reco and switching to waterskiing.

Also lost my nerve a bit with racing bikes.

Luckily we had the farm at Apollo Bay to ride on and learn when we were kids on weekends off from Basketball.

We spent hours making jumps etc, loved the 2 strokes but my got that YZ400 4 stroker was something else. such a great bike.

    What did you all have?

    Nice Norm.
Feck we clash - your a Holden admirer and yamahahahaha.
Got to admire YZ's though but CR's are my choice.
I'll have to drum up some pics once back.
My brother and I started on XR80's through to the first Elsinores on, how were those power bands back in the day I'm sure you know it well lol......veggie oil love that smell and the sound of 2strokes !
My brother raced early days I did it for fun.
Agree 4strokes are a beast compared to the ol days.
We're riding CRF's plenty since - check out CRF Honda Racing.
My brothers team and we handle plenty in the back ground from our office obviously.
Been in the blood for a long time.

Figures lol, Gally, shame he's such a nice bloke !
I was a Gunter supporter then more so the flying freckle Jeff Leisk once he rose.
Watched him smoke a field on 500's from last at just 16, amazing rider.
We're good friends of them all, well yes and no.
Dack has been a prime A hole over the years.
We were Team Honda with Glen Bell. Thankfully Glen smoked Daka on many supercross championships
You see my bro has been in MA over some 30yrs.
Remember Bultacos - early Huskys. What bikes compared to the rolls royces of today lol.....
Glen has been training my nephew for sometime but I don't think he has it but he loves it that's all that matters.
Go to de nations with Oz team and obviously make use getting into MotoGP at PI as well.

Yeah such memories, i wrote a poem in high school English about Gall, Gunter, Leisk, Bell etc lol.

    The ending went:

    "The moral to this story
And the best moral by far
If you wanna win a race
    You better ride a Yamaha"

Always wanted to ride a Maico 500..

How did you like the KX Norm ?
I never rode one tbh but they really got their act together since that time and built some very good bikes since.
I wish I had got hold off the recent KTM's (say last 5-10yrs) they have really presented and built a great bike nowadays as well.

If dates suit through the year I'll hook you up for a motocross round down there if interested.

Great bike, it was an ex Team Kawasaki Supercross bike with fuel bowl extensions, Procircuit pipe, port work etc etc.

Was awesome off the line and midrange hit, perfect for Supercross.

I had to alter suspension a lot to suit Motorcross type tracks.

Did the Emig black plastic replica with it:

Guy i sold it too broke his back over jumping a triple on it...

Best bike i've owned was the 400F, had DSP titanium pipe, protapers, gripper seat, GYP sticker kit etc, did it as a Doug Henry replica, bloody weapon.

Hole shoted 3 open class races on it at Ravenswood, was so quick.
