i think vodafone outsmarted themselves today. it sounds like they adjusted the engine calibration overnight and both cars were making weird noises. both seemed to be lacking the speed they showed yesterday.

first time since race 1 2007 there was no safety cars which would've messed up quite a few calculations. sometimes it doesn't pay to be too clever and just take it as it comes.

I think 888 leaned the engines out a bit, or dropped the red line down a few RPM.

But, it wasn't just a "steven bradbury" for FPR, they showed pace all weekend and put the pressure to the Red teams. Just think, a few shorter gear changes yesterday and Davo might have won both races...

Neverless, great start to the champoinship, i think this year will be killer.

Exactly today's race showed FPR's real potential and their ability to win, unlike yesterday's.

There was talk at the track that FPR had caused some concern by being able to run for as long as they did on the sat. I have had the absolute best time here. Ford dominated this event. The Chaz, the coyote, Mustang Sally, and FPR. Don't forget all SBR cars in the top ten too. Icing, Courntey back where he belongs.

Agreed totally Ian. I was only at the track briefly today but I enjoyed every minute of it, especially seeing the blue underdogs shine at almost everything despite an absolute onslaught of red. My daughter was so proud she had her Ford flag waving out the window of our car for the jouney home. I must admit I was having a quiet chuckle at Courtney. I know at some point he may finally get his shit together but for now I'm going to enjoy his misfortune which serves well as a constant distraction for HRT.

    Bump.., oops jumped the gun

Almost time for a New thread

I had given this sport the flick but after seeing Scotty's Ford and Craig's Holden in the flesh I feel reborn and re energised again...

Let's pray it isn't a One 888 Team whitewash again eh?
