AU XR8 or AU XR8 Rebel?

AU XR8 or AU XR8 Rebel?
Hi all I have a question regarding the question above.
I have an AU Falcon XR8 with a 220kw engine and 5 speed manual gearbox. Manufacture date 10/2001.
Now after being asked a question the other day as to whether it was a Rebel or not, well I had no idea.
Now I've searched and searched online all to no avail.I know that before I got the car it was involved in a smash and has had the front and rear bars replaced.
So my question is.How do I find out if it is a Rebel or not?

I always thought if it was a series 2 220kw, then it was a rebel?

Nope. 220kw engine was introduced mid 2001/AU2, Rebel is S3?

    Rebel was AU11.
In 2001, TVE also built 125 units of the XR8 Rebel, which were characterised by a Ford Racing bodykit (instead of the standard Tickford version) and, more importantly, the 220 kW "Synergy 5000" 5.0-Litre V8 version of the "Windsor" engine from the FTE T series. With this limited edition XR8, Ford also provided a Sony PlayStation2 and a copy of Gran Turismo 3 signed by both Glenn Seton and Steven Richards as part of the package.[5] The AU III series XR8 inherited the same 220 kW V8 engine as standard and the Ford Racing bodykit as an option to the standard Tickford version. A limited edition XR6 VCT Sprint also received the Ford Motorsport bodykit.

With the finish of AU due to BA already coming into soon production nearly ALL AUXR8 S3's had the rebel front and rear bars fitted.

I don't recall any markings of Rebel inside AU11.
Rebel/Speedline wheels and body kit pretty much stood it out. I expect the Tickford engine bay plate had Rebel Kit as optioned, what has your XR8 got ID in the engine bay ?
MY XR8 S3 typically had the Rebel body kit but the usual XR wheels of the times.
