Sensational washdown area he has.
He was not happy with the foam stripping the coating
No. Potentially not reading instructions might be to blame but if it's concentrated and it's left sit, this can happen.

So gave this a go this morning (bowdens). Bought their bottle (decent quality for these days).
Anyway followed the directions and mix. Used mums car (my old Falcon) as a test subject. There was plenty of foam that came out but it seems watery. I've never been this action so wasn't sure on what the consistancy should be.
After I washed the stuff off the car there seemed to be no difference in car. I wanted to see the dirt loosen and come off. But the result looked as good as hitting the car with the pressure hose.
So trying to work out if I've done something incorrectly or this stuff is not for me.

What I have noticed with the foam is it doesn't get all the dirt off, still need to wash by hand, but loosens and softens which makes it much easier

You can't expect the foam process to take everything off for it won't.
For the trophy car I use it purely on the base's to soften/loosen up the grit in hope of reducing swirl marks on the clear coat but on my daily for eg or Mrs's JEEP I wouldn't bother but as defective quotes, high pressure hose or gerni first up is enough for I'm not anal on that paintwork.

I have to admit I am not sold on it myself.
If you have a foam that is strong enough to soften grim and what not, part of me questions what’s it doing to the wax.
I don’t use Bowdens, but one from the UK. It definitely doesn’t foam like you see in Dans videos
