Truck drivers have used compressed air to clean out their interiors for years.
Probably a convenience thing for them for than anything else though.

Ive been using compressed air on my interior for a while now.

Its far more effective at removing dust then wiping and means you don't need to touch the surface at all.

Its even good for blowing brake dust off your wheels.

I could understand the reasoning on hard to reach places, and as you said - for less contact scratching on dash and facia surfaces

But you wouldnt do your carpet like they did in the video?

No but it works very well for moving dust and dirt in areas a vacuum nozzle won't reach

I think there is an emphasis on move.

Its like the cleaners at work sweeping the floors. They shift the dust from the floor to the lights, table tops, screens, basically from arsehole to breakfast time.

The only place I have seen whitedetails use compresses air on the interior is the seat runners.

    Yeah correct.

Blow it out of hard to get to areas and then vacuum it up.

I find it best to leave all 4 doors open to allow airborne stuff to escape before settling again on interior surfaces.

I am a big Bowdens fan mainly because it isnt bullshit. If you follow the instructions it will do what it says it will every time, cant ask for more than that.

After Glow - the new product, is bloody fantastic. Basically means you can't stuff up drying the car and leaves a really nice finish on it.

    Couldn't agree more Austin.

I tried to get afterglow but its just not in my part of the state. But by midweek I should have some.

I swapped to Bowdens a few years back when Dan was down here for the Longford revival. They gave a presentation that sold me especially about salt in detergents.

    Used their wash ever since.

The photos on the Facebook group are stunning.

And its Australian so what's not to like about that.

Where I have changed a bit is with paint correction. In some cases you invest in a system which makes their wax difficult to use.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

Ian, don't you buy from their website ?
Question, if using the blower to dry the car Afterglow is no point ?
and if I was going to use say a quick gloss finish or wipe down wouldn't quik detailer or more so I have their Boss Gloss which is a quick detailing spray.
    Boss Gloss
This awesome detailing spray is made for car lovers who need something super fast and easy to bring up a great shine. As it's so fast and easy to use, Boss Gloss has become the go to product for our family to use on our cars before a show or tour event. It's also ideal for a quick go over before the car show judges appear (even in the sun) or a fast spruce up before car club run. It gives a high gloss shine and leaves a lovely slick finish for the win.

Water based synthetic formula that's ideal for both modern clear coats and older single stage paints

For cars that are used regularly and live mainly outdoors, have a look at our Fully Slick protective detailing spray

    Next Afterglow details
The much anticipated After Glow. It has taken us 2 years of intensive development, with close to 90 different product formulations being extensively tested to perfect it. This is now the glossiest, most protective and easiest to use product we've ever created. After Glow is a different drying aid than what you might have used before. It uses a diverse multitude of new ingredients that work together to absorb all the water straight into your Big Softie cloth, and then effortlessly buffs off to leave a brilliant, streak free shine. Now that is usually enough for most, but After Glow also leaves a lovely level of protection that can last for months after the application. We know you'll really love using this custom formula as much as we now do!

Created for the fussiest of car fanatics who want perfect, spot free drying
Super protective water based sealant, with mega bead porn and water sheeting technology
Use as a fast and easy one-step product for an amazing shine and lasting protection
For all exterior paint, glass, metal, alloy, rubber, headlights and plastic trim
Gives essential lubrication as you dry, to further help prevent micro scratches and swirls
Emulsifies water droplets on contact, for easy and fast drying
Safe for regular use on waxes, sealants or modern paint protection coatings
Can be used as often as you'd like, for a fast top up of both shine and protection
A highly concentrated formula, only requiring 10-15ml of product per use, meaning you can do 30 to 50 cars per bottle.
Guaranteed to leave a goofy, satisfied look on your face after the jobs all done.
Very proudly Australian made and developed formula

Its all getting so much filled with products over lapping each other much imo.
I get the Afterglow punch that leaves a streak free shine plus protection BUT don't the other similar products do as well ?? like Boss Gloss for eg.
As much as i LOVE buying more good gear for my joys I'm starting to see too much up selling and products really being similar but a different marketing spin and new packaging.
Believe me I'm not having a go at Bowdens, this is all detailing products in general.
I think were just becoming suckers because we love it lol....
