How much boost to acheive 727hp?

Why are we still talking HP when everything else in Australia is referred to KW?

Its becoming my pet hate too. Hp needs to be banished under a global directive if unification.

All imperial can just become extinct.

Sorry, I'm only quoting the manufactures. The figures come out of the US hence their preference to stating crank HP. To give a guide in KW's 727 HP is about 540 kW at the engine, or just over 400 at wheels.

I get confused too as when people ask me what HP my GT makes I tend to say around 700 but I am refereing to power at the wheels (not crank).

At a guess to make 727 they would be up around the 9psi mark. with 680 around the 6 psi using a larger diameter pulley.
