If my BA got smashed up tomorrow, it would be a tough choice between one of these and a G6ET.

That would be a hard choice. Two vehicles which share so much yet couldn't be more different.

Hmmm. G6ET for me too, but in 5 years I think it would be the other way round

    Rob's SZ TS Territory

A business colleague of mine who also owns a Lexus, Porsche and a Ferrari bought one of those turbo Territory Ghia’s as a run around. He’s not your typical Ford car buyer so I was curious to know why he had bought one and asked him. He said, why wouldn’t you? Where else can you get this type of quality, size and performance in an SUV for under $50k! Helps to put things into perspective. These, along with some of the G6ET models will become quite desirable in time. I have contemplated getting one of the last FGX G6ET’s a few times. It’s one of the best looking Falcons in the modern era along with the Mk 2 GTE.

The g6et shits on the xr's in terms of looks. Pitty about the lack of lsd and it's soft in the shock department.

All easily rectified once warranty is no longer an issue.
