My $300 ef
Hey all.
Just thought I'd make a thread about my ef gli dual fuel I just picked up.
I bought it for 300 with a blown head.
So far I have fixed the head and now it's a matter of finding all the other shit that's wrong.
So far I have found the brake lights don't work, the thermo fans don't turn on and I have a power steering leak in the high pressure line.
The power steering leak is no biggie. That's easy to sort out.
But has anyone got any ideas about the fan or brake light issues.
The fans work when I test straight from the battery. So I guessing relays are gone. Where are they located?
Or could it be something more?
And I'm completely lost on the brake lights. The fuses are fine. The globes are new.
Any ideas?
Once the car is running, I have a tikky head ready. And the electric shift kit is installed but not connected to the eve yet (wanna get it running first before I connect to ecu).
Cheers guys for any help.

The brake light problem will be the switch on the brake pedal. Very common problem.

I found out why it had a blown head. Lpg converter has shit it. Pushing coolant Thu the gas out on the converter.

Ok. Car is running nice. But smart lock light stays on while driving. Abs light intermittently comes on and off. And the airbag light comes on too.
Are any of these worthy to look into? Or should I just ignore them. If I should look into them, how should I go about it?
