    Fox Body 1987 Mustang

    Hi,

I am hoping to have some help here. I just imported a 1987 Mustang GT Convertible and one issue I have is the headlights.

I can't find anywhere to get headlights suitable for Australia. I am wondering if there are any other Fords that have similar headlights or if there is a place that will convert them ?Image 12-4-18 at 6.45 pm.jpgImage 12-4-18 at 6.54 pm.jpg

Thanks for your reply Andrew. I can't find anyone else who has imported another fox body of this year range.
I am going to leave it LHD and put on Club Permits. It is a california car so absolutely no rust and all original.

You can buy them on eBay or Amazon, but if you want something more orginal and to work with a local part supplier Stephan & Robyn from Custom Mustangs should be able to help you

Thanks WASP - however they only sell older Mustang headlights at Custom Mustangs.
Also, any on Amazon or Ebay are for driving conditions on other side of the road. They dip the wrong way and won't be approved here.

I'd look for Headlight repairers, to see if they can be modified to meet the requirements.

alternative would be to track down another owner and ask realllllllllllllly nicely if you can borrow them for the RWC haha

Need to work out what part of the headlight actually makes the headlights lhd or rhd specific. Could be as simple as swapping the bulbs themselves over.

Unfortunately it isn't the bulb or anything that the adjustment controls can do. It is in the reflector and the lens. It seems that there isn't anyway to fix them or any replacement to buy anywhere.
Perhaps once some more fox body come in there will be
