He may have gotten into trouble because he could’ve been out of context. Demon is one trick pony and even a standard GT would smash it on just about any racetrack. To say venom kills demons is inviting people to think GT500 will actually beat Denon at where it’s most capable which is I think is far fetched.

They that is the expectation now. Anything less that a quarter mile murder will be seen as comimg up short. The GT 500 has big boots to fill, but it was always going to regardless.

Yes there was no need for him to paint Ford into a corner.. When he first said it we thought it was either going to have a 1000hp or he’s put his foot in it.

The specific issue is he leaked that he had been in a mule. No one should have been allowed in the car.

He has gotten an engineer or two into trouble.

But once established his position to speak, his experience appears to be what revealed in his facial expressions.
