Collectability is in the eyes of the beholder. If you are looking to sell in the future then this upgrade could swing either way depending on whether the future buyer wants stock standard. For me this is not an issue, Vader is a keeper. It is whether this package completes the vehicle or merely adds to it. This is what I am wrestling with at the moment. After watching the video I love the factory look. However the XR8 would have to be braked better. Black 6/4 Brembo's would be a great finish to the car. But then you are looking at almost $30k investment. Is it worth it for a "Falcon" which is not a Sprint or GTF?

I can really only talk the way I see it.

Until now the intercooled Miami was used internally which means all variants are separated by tune only.

This is the first time a factory quality mechanical change has been offered by anyone closely related to the program.

Set aside the car names. Set aside the package name.

These names evoke a sort of class distinction aspect that's not needed here.

As Miami owners we are equal in the hardware we own.

I think the best donor package is probably the Sprint. The you have anything Rspec then lastly the early GT or GS stuff.

Xr8 is a Rspec GT with better features.

Beyond all that, it's not our cars making or valuing this decision.

I am happy this is open to all Miami cars. I am currently unclear on the ute.

XR8 HG sounds just as good as GTF HG to me.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

See the prices on those three you've mentioned lately? Even with phase autos doing 'new' phase 5s the prices are going insane.
There's a e series Moffat ho that changed hands recently for 'apparently' in excess of 60k.
Seems the closure of local manufacturing has really bumped the values in what had tradionally been viewed as just aftermarket modified models.
There's a pretty strong surge for anything limited in build with verifiable heritage.

Being a keeper just comes down to if you want more or not for the XR8 - for lets face it, nothing will be as good as this in finish/performance done by the FPV guys, there won't be anything in the future as good but more so by the guys who know the cars inside and out better than the other mobs.
This is the only thing that has me considering it.
Is it worth it ? break the cost down over the next 20yrs for eg.
CL Champs 2019 for the 6th time
    and EPL 19/20 Champs......
TS50/Sprint 8 and daily anti aussie Macan GTS

Just discovered this thread now. Late to the party..

very interesting. Would Like to know more details about this engine intercooler package when it comes to hand.

Has the boost been increased to achieve this power results?

Also, what is the difference power/Torque numbers between this and the GTF351 tune?

    Looking forward for more details......
The target was a mind-boggling 484kW and 750Nm of grunt, a significant step up from the final GT’s 351kW and 570Nm
CL Champs 2019 for the 6th time
    and EPL 19/20 Champs......
TS50/Sprint 8 and daily anti aussie Macan GTS

Dont forget the final GT had alot more than 351 at the fly. We need rwkw to make a fair comparison.
