    yes ofcourse compliment each other.
    Modern day then and now/last.
The T3 or more so 5.6l showed how far it could go to 2002, IMO the prior V8's were let down's, 220 probably the best, farfar better than the 175/185 wannabees.
Once IRS was introduced the handling went the next levels and TSeries owners reaped the rewards topping out with the 5.6l a brilliant Aussie Ford.
Roll on 16yrs the Sprint, its chalk and cheese comparing that far back and yes how far our 4doors had moved ahead is the ducks guts, full stop.
Even though the T3 isn't ol school as we know it it does feel ol school when comparing them but its still just as driveable in its own right comparing to our last offerings.

Not exactly what I was getting at.

One is arguably the best looking of the big body kits. The other is striking in it’s conservatism.

One is raw, mechanical, the other refined and polished.

One started a statement, the other finished the exact same statement.

The synergies are different, like you say a different time, but yet the same.

One of each is probably the ideal combination to own.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

    Well, that month has arrived.
Sept 23 2016 was manual black Sprint pick up day (and the wife's BDay can never forget that !)......
So yep, 2yrs has passed already yet I feel its still brand new.
Clock is on 12,000 clicks. Not bad for having 3 rides.
    Avg is 15.5.
I can't fault the sheer driving feeling I have once I'm in the drivers seat.
Most if not all the k's have been in surburbia so only a few times have I really taken it to redline 2nd 3rd gears for I run out of road, they are frightening fast when doing as such and the torque and sound is wonderful - the roll on acceleration always impress's me when @ 80k's or abouts.
Changed the oils a couple of times, a new pair of PZ's.
Still don't know how to use Sync much at all for I don't spend the time on this gizmo shit, I just drive and worked out the music thats all I need, at times I don't have radio/music for just listening to Sprint how it runs is bliss anyway.
Black to some is a biatch but I have a love for that tuff look, just the other day I was following a Range Rover Sport all black as well incl wheels and thought yep look at that.
My only gripe is cleaning those wheels I suppose but its a labour of love so no worries.
I love that FGX's are rare on the roads, the bonnet and front has such presence and for me a real car should always have quad exhaust outlets.
Its still completely stock as it was born, haven't even done the bi modal simple mod.
    Its fine as it is.
Thankyou Justin and crew, Thankyou Ian for your input.

I need to visit the garage and get mine out again. Havent used it since april? or something like that this year. Been using the F6 and T3 a few times. From memory it is still under 5k on the clock. We have a nice North East / East coast cruise coming up in October, then a trip to Hobart in November, so will use it for both of those trips.

Must admit that since getting Stormie (Ranger) that Vader has not seen much daylight. The only 2 outings since November last year has been the Ippy run to meet the boys, and to get the car serviced in Gatton. After reading this I might get him out for a run this week. Have to go to Brisbane for state coaching duties. Might be a great excuse to fire up the XR8. Thanks boys for putting him front of mind again.
