Realistic price ?

I wouldn't pay what these people are asking, especially not high spec models.
GS is GS, there was nothing much different from the std models overall.
That onyx black XB sure would catch my eye but amazes the price as it is, gone to the trouble having a respray I guess but the rest of the package still needs full enhancement.
That engine bay is woeful, the whole interior, bit and pieces need replacing I can see another $40k into that plus whatever undercar needs replacing.
Got to be kidding, these people are dreaming lol.....

One owner Maurie, incredibly rare combination and a GS. No longer are these cars valued based on their sum of parts. The GS Fairmont's are extremely desirable. With the XB's some are fetching GT money and some.

With the XY Fairmont GS they are still the cheaper than the GT equivalent even at $145k, especially in that condition.

Hey I agree the prices are getting stupid, but while people arer wanting and paying for them they will keep going up. Hell, Ive seen a one owner, very very low km (8000) 2003 BA GT go for almost $40k. Fellas, hang on to your hats. The best example Aussie built cars of all makes and models are set to skyrocket.

Yep, if there's a particular model you've been thinking of grabbing while they're cheap I'd be doing it very soon.

Prices show every indication of going completely ludicrous,,even for models that have never really been worth much.

Yeah I've been tracking that one Dash, there was two FG-X's for sale through AMCS a little while back that were both brand new with delivery k's only and both manual, one White and the other Black, for some reason I have an inclination that this is the White one, not sure why.

But yeah I prefer a auto but I also agree this one is at the high end of the price range.
