Mate, it won't be a daily, manual is the real mccoy no matter what anyone says, driving at your own peddle pressing and shifts is being the conductor of the sounds, sheer engaging driving pleasure.
The complementing experience is there from 4doors to 2doors, different handling manners/power deliveries and in cabin viewing, slap yourself and say yes your right lol......
If the Convertible GT Mustang was available with a manual trans it would have been a Manual.

I hear you Maurie. The Bullitt would make a great weekend toy.

Then again, as a daily the Mustang 10-speed is just too good to pass over. Driving this morning in Sports + mode with exhaust set to 'Race' and engine reving and down changing between the gears and I was in peak hour traffic! Oh my,...what a way to get to the office without breaking a sweat. That also may have been because my butt was been cooled lol

Its just too good a car to leave it all for occassional use.

    Agree!

Congrats too! how good are the cooled seats??!! LOL

Ford also need to be making cars that appeal to consumers as daily drivers too, not just garage queens/weekenders...

Manual only specials is poor business sense.

C, a couple of us were talking last night about Bullitt, great one to have just need to change those wheels

Mate, Adelaide traffic lol, nah sorry it just doesn't matter re the 10speeds features benefits, without driving a manual one to date IF its anything like a late model manual Miami regards using clutch/box changes these are childs play today in operation compared to the ol days.
I've been in bumper to bumper traffic in Sprint, sure I'm not using it daily but seriously if I was its just applying a technique, people are getting softer and softer imo, tech is making the decision for soft option more and more.....
    Slap yourself as well

Yes got to say the seat cooling is good !

    So no announcement ?

Buying a mustang, any of the current offerings to not use as a daily makes no sense.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

    OK agree, manual still imo.
As I've mentioned IF ever I get one it will be a daily full stop no garage queen for I don't love them but like them and it will be manual, its just a real performance car.

I am keen to drive one with the 10 speed. So do we believe the hype?

Hype is a dangerous thing but at the end of the day I would cautiously say yes, depending on the mode and settings you use.

Leave it in Normal mode and the things shifts smoothly and comfortably, if not a bit lazily. In this mode, there is a bit of low down lagginess if you decide to stab the throttle, say compared to the XR6 turbo, but its pretty short lived. Once you have the revs over 2k the thing starts to haul.

If that's not your cup of tea, the Sports + mode it is. Makes the throttle response and shifts super sharp and fast. IMO it really changes the personality of the car. I think I'm actually addicted. lol

If there is anything that feels at odds to me is you can tend to notice all the down changing when this happens. For example, when you slow down to a stop, as the gears change down there is a slight sensation of pushing, then pulling as you come to a stand still. It was a bit unnerving at first but I have gotten use to it.
