Disassembly of Herrod rear spoiler.

Hi Guy's does anyone know how easy it is to disassemble the Bi plane Herrod rear spoiler for the AU II/III XR's ?.

the one I am looking at is Red and the bottom half of the spoiler needs work at the legs, but that doesn't concern me to much as I have my original spoiler that I plan to attach the top section too(Herrod part) but as it is already attached to this other spoiler I am unsure of how to disassemble it.

I think from memory that Herrod used to sikaflex or some sort of method them on ?

But how easy is it to remove with out damage ?.

Nice mod mate.
I had one on mine fitted.
Yes with sika.
Taking one off, yer difficult but with care can be done.
I'd try using a strong line ie fishing line hoping to break it down bit by bit ?
Hard on the hands, wear gloves.
If your not worried of the spoiler maybe a spatula little by little ?

At this stage I think I might actually give it a miss as I have been looking at the ones with them on and I think they don't really suit the look anymore, it's to much if that makes sense.
I think I prefer the original look.

Agree on a std XR8.
Mine had aftermarket larger wheels, pumped it out a little more so adding the bi plane looked good imo, I had it in carbon finish on my meteorite.
