Correct. I don’t think it is a mistake that the look of HG pacakage covers the black concept execution.

The front bar suggested intercooler but they denied it. In fact they said they were brake cooling ducts.
The rims were black, still 19s but wider.
The exhaust was loud, might have been 3 inch but I might be wrong.

The car was lowered and the suspension was said to be adjustable.

You had to fill in forms to tell ford to build it.

I am serious. This is where politics comes in.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

And then there was the Intercooled Sprint mule too...

See the "look and dont touch" plaque, its covering the intercooler reservoir.

It will make for great reading if someone inside Ford released a FPV car project book outline all the prototypes cars, and cars that didn't make it to production.

Not holding you or anyone else responsible for what I or anyone else haven't read.

I was living under a rock in 2010 and was about as far away from forums as I could get.

My point I guess is for people who like me weren't around in those days for whatever reason have asked about these things in the past and not been given a straight answer, as if it's all assumed knowledge and it's bothersome to rehash but unlike a book - we've not necessarily read all the pages that lead to this one.

Anyhow it seems I'm the lone ranger here so I'll pull my head in and get on with it.

This is the reason why I brought up the firewall issue. There has been many different stories around, its good to have closure on the topic.

It would be a great night to listen about all the background projects workings/success failures/what could have been what ended up as.
    Nothing matters anymore why not.

    It’s not like that.

As far as I know, no one with authority ever came out and said yes, no or otherwise. I certainly can’t remember who was in AFF at that time but that’s the problem with part of what’s being promoted now.

Yes this is what they wanted to do. I think a fair portion of that would have falen under PPP. It was the intention of prodrive to start their own versions of walkinshaw called Prodrive Performance Parts. That’s where, we’ll effectively HG comes in. You have to get through the mine field that is Ford.

Would HG as it sits be approved by Ford to go into production.

I will say no. The things that would stop it don’t mean much to consumers but Ford doesn’t make allowances for that.

An example that might be about to play out is Herrod and ford teaming up.

What specifically are they getting around with the partnership. What’s the specifics of how it operates.

And futura I wouldn’t say anything is put to bed.

We are somewhat isolated on issues compared to AFF.

There are higher HP Miami’s out there. I see blue power are now at 500kws as well. I guess the question I have is are these tuners seeing issues with custimer cars?

Is there any new or recognised issue with the Miami specific to twisting or flex?

There have been occasions where some tuners have gone backwards to move forward.

Herrod and a street tuner test is one I remember where he dialed back the power because falcon can’t use it effectively.

The HG power increase would be the lowest number anyone has offered. It’s not much higher than a straight out tune offered by some AM companies.

I think there is a reason for that. The downside and there is no escaping this is bang for buck places HG at a disadvantage.

    It’s the number 1 complaint.

For me the real question needs to be how much extra stress is being add to pinch points in real terms.

We have all the traditional ones like diff bushes, half shafts or input shafts.

I would assume the latest models are the safest to use a donor.

While there have been Miami cars since late 2010, there have also been 2 full model changes and god knows how many running changes.

FGX in my opinion would be the best choice. One of those stories could be more accurate or the truth.

If you are asking am I worried about it pertaining to the HG upgrade, the answer is no.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

I did see that. Way cheaper than what I was quoted.

A big part of keeping internal workings a secret is its embarrassing.
