Now many of us have been at You Yangs faciltiy and seen the number of test sections that is set up to put X new model through its paces, abused like mad in regards to pot hole simulation but worse, some of those gaps/holes divided by those metal ridges you'd think it would bust anything weak under car pretty quick, (as a Enthusiast owner you know you avoid as much as possible on the road ahead that would shatter your tyres/rims suspension plus avoid rattling your teeth might I add) then I'm sure they do launch after launch - bang into reverse hard and stomp on the accelerator again and again, probably not the way I'm quoting but you know what I mean, overall they give the new model extreme abuse right.
Didn't the blade diff bush's let go prematurely ? surely they did.
Looking at this from a bigger picture....

I could be wrong here, but it's possible it was seen as a cheaper solution to replace existing bushes that failed under warranty than the expense of a total new program to re engineer and evaluate a solution.

Once NVH becomes a consideration it limits the types of bush materials they could adopt for an easy fix.

If you know the platform's being retired investing 10's of millions in a new rear end might not be viable,

Back when control blade was introduced I'm not sure closure was on the cards?

Maybe the power limits of the driveline were underestimated at the initial design project stage.

Miami wasn’t even a wet dream when that suspension was designed

    It goes like this ...

Diff bush / better bush... then broken bolt / stronger bolt... then broken diff hat /replace hat ... repeat !!

    And remember i was only making 270rwhp N/A and 384rwhp Nitrous .

Since i deleted the vibration damper off the diff bolt everything seems to be working in harmony now, only broke cv shafts running drag radials and they are 1400hp units now .

I have no idea how you miami guys make your diff last...

Even n/a ba’s destroy diff bushes regularly.

It’s was a flawed design from day one that was never truly rectified.
