I guess there's an element of frustration for me with this because there's a hell of a lot more to this package once you dig down deep.

For whatever reason details of the exact extent are only slowly being fed out or hidden in text.

The Full HG Kit that i can work out is:

    -Revised cam timing

    -New inlet manifold

    -Triple pass intercooler

-Revised tune with full DLPS and by gear boost mapping.

-Revised billet rear control blade to allow the wider rim/tyre.

-Wider 19' rims and Cup 2 Tyres.

-Exclusive to HG tuned Shockworks shocks - (cant be bought over the counter)

-Revised Power steering pump to handle higher loads (Bricktop proof).

    -Revised Diff bushes.

    - New Exhaust

Each element above will have a story and rationale behind it.

People are not seeing the totality of this clearly.

Just take a min to think through the time investment to R+D these changes alone let alone the time to fit each kit (over 40 hours).

Its far far more than just a tune, intercooler and wider tyres.

doing the motor mod alone is 26hrs quoted I think I read somewhere.
I expect some punters don't get all this Norm but I and most others would as yourself, we know its not just a tune/exhaust job.
Typically the media just go over the whole enhancements in brief and gloss due to space/cost restraints, normal.
Hopefully it provides enough interest to some owners to make the call to Premcar to get to the bottom of it all incl their website.

    Overall Positive feedback from Media.

10 secs faster around winton is mindblowing.
How does this compare with the W1 lap times at Winton?

When you break it down like that, one can see the value for money.

I believe the 10 seconds gap was based on HG Sprint 8 V a 335 FG GT that was present during testing.

But If you compare that time with the outright best times of 335 GT, GT-F, Sprint 8 and W1 at Winton it's misleading.

The W1 lap time is very impressive at 1.33

The tyres fitted to it are even better that the cup2.

In every area too except one. Aquaplaining

W1 also has better brakes and for winton I think perhaps better ratios.

To make a statement like "better by" it really needs to be done in the one day by the same driver.

Not to take anything away from what's been said but there will be a difference between Luff and Bowe. The track surface will change as time goes on. A dusty track will cost you time, a cold track will cost you time.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

My numerous posts have always been about value for money. With the reviews and what you see here the package starts to make sense. I would seriously consider making the full hog......if they have anything left next year.

The brakes on the W1 are freaking massive.

    410mm front 372mm rear.

The Rears are bigger than the 355mm 6 pot Brembo fronts.

So the ultimate question would have been what if this could have been the GTF with a FGX body kit? Wow what a car that would have been. The Sprint then this car. What a finish for Ford to say goodbye with.
