    My BF Ghia ):

So here is the story of my beloved first car, a 2005 BF MKI Fairmont Ghia. I never even knew the mki's existed before I saw this car I always thought it skipped straight to the mkii. Browsing carsales one night, i decided to lift the price range of my search from around 12 to around 15 and instantly this car came up and it had just been listed too! Straight away I called the owner who I arranged a time to see the car with my dad and ford fanatic uncle lol. Was the best car i'd ever driven from the response of the 190kw 6 to the smoothness of the ZF to the luxury of a Ghia. It was perfect! We showed little interest (as you do ) and walked away. I headed in for major surgery the day after and little did I know they had already bought the car before I went in. After I got let out of ICU they handed me the keys I WENT BALISTIC! lol
Ill start with pics from the carsales link and you can see how the build progressed from there its pretty self explanatory.

    Chrome mirror scalps and K&N

Lowered on SL fronts SSSL rears, RDA slotted rotors and extreme pads. De-mudflap and remove weathershields

Painted all the plastics piano black, fairlane dash fascia and clock fascia and the obligatory LED's

    10% tints

    De-badge

Semi polished rocker cover and a strike of lightning

My favourite mod this 2000km old xr6t catback. looks brand new

0-100 before the cat was done.

Got these set of 5 non genuine xr8 mags. Worst gutter rashed wheels i've ever seen but our handiwork fixed that over a couple of weekends (: they're wet here you cant really tell

    work started

    On the car, new tyres

Next thing was a custom made video kit

    Random pics

100 cell balistic cat and delete resonator

Then I started getting sick of the stock ghia look on the outside. HATE SPOILERS!

    Re-did the engine bay

fitted some tips to the system. everyone thought it was turboed because of the exhaust note wherever i went lol

    running stockies lol

After i got the new set of tyres i found the km were a bit high for my liking so i put her up for sale. Worst idea ever, the mods stopped and I found a cheap honda euro to run around in until I knew which car i wanted. Not knowing that I would never find a car that could fill the whole that my baby left. I still think about it every day and keep in contact with the owner. I just hope that one day I buy her back, its up in queensland somewhere now. I had it all for about a year and 2 months.

Thanks for reading I know it's massive lol (:

Very nice. The ZF with the barra was an awesome combo, and to top it off it's a Ghia.

Great effort on this one hmoody, would've loved to see it in person but too late now. Your FG is a beautiful car too.
