I feel these are the best Ponys to date imo......
I liked Bullit (wheels could have been better mind you) but Mach 1 is presenting best overall.
Pity it won't be out till 22.

All Good. I like this model. No surprises there I guess. It's fallen a bit short on the local's expectations of having more power and a shaker scoop. While those would have been nice I'm not a purest so much when it comes to the Mach 1. It was always the everyman (or women's) performance version of the Mustang. I bit like what XR/GS Falcons are to us here. The more purest models where the Shelby's.

They do a very good job of explaining the lack of Shaker in the vid, TBH, im not a fan of shakers on modern cars either, and they said it would add no performance benefit so why add unnecessary cost.

Power too is a tough one, how do you add more power without stepping on GT350's toes?

There's RSpec for those wanting more power.

Toe to toe, I actually reckon this will be very close to the RSPEC. Potentially faster on a race track and over distance and maybe even 0-100km. The supercharged RSPEC should have the edge in a straight line and with in-gear acceleration. I guess we won't know unless it comes here which I suspect it may in limited numbers.

I'd say the Mach 1 HO will be significantly quicker around a track than the RSpec.

The Base Mach 1 wont though.

Although both Mach 1's gets the GT350 Tremec and better diff ratio.

I'll be very surprised if we get the HO option here.

I tend to agree but at the same time I suspect we'll get more than the baseline Mach 1. For example, it may come with the optional handling package but not the appearance package (which only comes in fighter grey)

    Or a hybrid of everything.

The least of which is the big wheel/tyres....

Maybe Base Mach 1 with appearance pack?

I discounted the appearance package due to it only being available in one colour. I'd be ok with that if the only version available for the HO. I am assuming Ford Aus may wish to give buyers the choice to option up vehicles to taste, but like the Bullitt its possibly easier to offer just the one variant as a LE.
