    2020 Mustang Review with Wasp

The video here came about because of a situation that occurred during this review. A situation that has had a dramatic impact on my ability to write this review.

I would firstly like to thank Colville for freeing up so much time to make this video possible

The article has been written and parts of it used away from the forum. This will be the last review of a Ford product I do and I won’t publish the written work now.

For those who follow twitter you may have noticed a reference a sale thats credited your this article and or opportunity to review. From that perspective it has achieved what was desired and I would only be too happy to answer questions on this car if there are any.

The video is raw, it’s unedited except for splicing and an attempt to fix the sound.

The sound has been heavily modified and as a result you will find the volume changes at times through out. For this reason it won’t be promoted on social media. It’s purely in house consumption only.

History is a statement, the future is a question.

Thanks for raising the thread again Maurie. lol

That Mustang in the video wasn't mine. It was a car Ford supplied and Ian provided, a 2020 model whereas mine was 2019.
Speaking of which I no longer have it. After being fortunate enough to have two FN Mustangs, I then moved to a Ranger Wildtrax which has been since returned. Keep up, mate!!

Coming back to the Mustang it was fantastic as a daily, almost perfect in fact (for me) giving you a brilliant balance of sports car, muscle car, and daily commuter although a somewhat impractical one.
That is, of course, if you avoid the temptation of modifying it. The ride height and comfort is surprisingly very practical for what it is. The biggest hindrance was parking the thing and those huge doors.

Would I own one again? Yes, absolutely. After having two FN's I'd be keen to see what the next model brings. From my understanding, it's going to be a ripper.

I'd did considered getting a used one but they just haven't really reduced much in price. A nice, low km 2017 or 18 models are still asking around $50k.

As a stop-gap measure, I pulled my 2008 FG XR6T out of storage and gave it a birthday, upgrading brakes, suspension, tyres, and the full interior command centre to something more tech-modern. It will make do for the moment but I don't want to put too many kms on it.

The 69 has also reprised by love and interest in classic cars. The idea of buying something old and cool, that is constantly appreciating is pretty hard to ignore.

The plan this year was to get my lovely wife a new car. I sort of did that if you call a 1963 Mini Cooper 997 a new car

So that leaves me with having to do something at some point this year again. Given our current collection of cars, there is no practical/daily option there really (apart from the XR).

I prefer the Mustang but a Ranger-Everest type car would better suit.

hehe, I enjoyed bringing it back up.
Yes thats it the vid was a FF Mustang review by our wonderful FF Editor and co corresponder you. (Ian was very good at this, a loss to the forum might I add)
Recall you updated to 2nd pony BUT news your in a Ranger but I do recall you mentioning about it as a possible new ride sometime ago.
So glad to hear you rated the Mustang well, I expect it is. I see some still complaning of build quality but we all as owners have our gripes, in general I expect they are fine.
The doors mention probably will test me IF I ever owned one, I do end up in some tight carparks, my garage is tight as well, oh hang the daily is not garaged won't matter.

I walked around some Mustangs in a yard this morn, as good as they look I just couldn't be bothered getting one - weird.
Maybe this so callled new model will tick more box's for me, we shall see, I was bummed about Mach 1 for I liked its look.

Ah I see why the posts of the XR6T re fresh, makes sense.
LOL the wifes run around is the classic Mini ?! love it. You have a very good wife, mine wouldn't even listen to me lol.....

So, whats your review of the Wildtrak ? maybe best in another thread ? and good to discuss over the next daily
