    hehe, cheeky mate but true.
Ford have been great at sticker packs - annoying, invest little gain more, they sure have got that right.

I'm feeling more and more inclined to just forget it.
Mach I've had really high hopes for and when you see what is available in the US gets you going and then - for Australia its watered down.
Its been the same forever and a day.
We/australia are strong V8 lovers - sales are there to be taken (just look at euro hipo sales) but our beloved Blue Oval only gives so much ex factory but agree having mods down here, meh.

I think some of you might be making some premature assumptions on the final spec of the Mach 1 we’ll get.

Specs haven’t even been released to dealers and won’t be until 22nd.

The HO wheels have significant poke.

This will create an ADR non compliance.

Just need a simple solution similar to what they did with the AU when they went to 17; the guard insert.

the Mach 1 HO already has a large front lip extension.

    Rears poke too.

i'm just not sure it is large enough to pass ADR

It's not. But surely it's not that hard to engineer locally. If they can engineer the Rspec locally, a simple solution to a guard shouldn't be this difficult.

But that's if they are actually interested in giving punters what they want.

Once you change something it has to go back through the Ford validation process (durability, splash etc) and then resubmit for ADR re-compliance.

It's not that cheap or simple.

Given they're bringing in 700, how many would opt for HO given it would probably be 10k more?

Not many vehicles to amortize the costs over.

The story of our lives here in Australia.

Low volumes models vs the funds to get ADR approval.

Well, if HSV (or whatever they call themselves now) can make it happen with the ZL1, Ford can make it happen for the Mach 1 IMO. I don't see 700 ZL1's being sold anytime soon.
