They (or other suppliers like MM) may supply non-genuine Mach 1 upgrades potentially. For example, the Shelby GT350 lip extension may fit the new Mach 1 splitter. Then there is the GT 350 rear spoiler.
For me, it's only really the wheels but I will reserve my judgment until I see them in the flesh. The new 19" are wider than the GT wheels so may fill the guards better.

I am probably being critical of Mach 1 but the Handling option was what made it in my eyes.
R-Spec was (is) awesome) in isolation. The problem is (IMO) the donor car is just too good and too close to it relative to the cost difference. If you don't have, or have had an FN already it might make more sense.

I agree that the HO option really stood out and gave you that feeling that you were buying a car much closer to a GT 350/500. It's a shame but it is what it is.

On the positive looking at the specs the Mach 1 we will get is far from a cosmetic update. It's a refinement and strengthening of the breed. It's a good thing made even better.

Agreed. I wont be buying a mustang unless its a factory RHD shelby or HO shelby equipped from factory.

I was hoping this Mach 1 would be the american equivalent.

Yes, Base Mach 1 uses 9.5/10" wheels, same width wheels as RSpec.

The Issue with the HO wheels is poke.

They stick out past the guard lips.

Depending on how much it sticks out they can sometimes address that with a simple plastic guard lip extension like they fit to the FPV's/Sprint.

It already has that, apparently its not enough to get it past ADR.

Also FP strictly prohibit any regions modifying their products.

So what's people's feelings on the pricing relative to a regular Mustang GT?

Need a comparison chart to compare the difference between the base Mach 1 and GT Premium.

    Wheels/Tyres?
    Different tune?

Lot of things to like about the Mach 1 over the GT. Gearbox, ratios, torsen diff, coolers (that the GT desperately needed); its a lot of car for the money. That said, its not enough to make me spill cash for one without the Handling package. I had a think over the weekend and sadly, will be pull the order completely tomorrow. Dealer asked me to think about it over the weekend. Its not enough car for $95k! In Ford's defence, the price is fair when you calculate USD price to AUD price ($52k USD is around $73k AUD, add GST, LCT, and shipping, $84k seems fair). But our stamp duty and the rest add to make it $95k with the appearance pack. I can't justify that. I'd have paid $100k for a handling pack version though.

I wouldn't buy a base GT cause I got sick of the car overheating either. And the additional coolers are eye watering when you look to buy them locally ($5k for the diff cooler alone!). Let see if the next gen Mustang has a GT350 option for us in Australia.
