I think it was a good race.

I also think with Jamie now retired we have at best 2 of the top 2-5 drivers in the series in Mustangs.

ADP will improve for 2022, and hopefully not have so many DNF's.

I'm not sure this season has turned out anything other than highly predictable except for Cam and Chaz having very inconsistent form.

Next year all i see is SVG dominating again with Cam, ADP, Chaz and the occasional Brown/Kosteki scrapping for the minor podium spots.

Unless a change was made during the season to address parity, I think SMP probably proved there was too much wrong aero rise.

It wasn’t a great look to start the season compounded by DJRs off seasons changes.

They along with WAU would have to be the stars of the season for me. Giz and T8 just did what they do but relative to expectations against current climate and the trend from the previous season, these two teams took major jumps.

Anton was our best performer which isn’t a shock but at the same time points to the traditional Tickford slide

Chaz winning was worse than T8 for me.

Ryan is the sort of person I have previously recommended people follow. However during the parity fiasco and then the DJR engine breach saga, Ryan revealed himself to be dyslexic. At least with Dane you know who the puppet master is. Ryan was all over the place, but then come back to being reasonable before running his mouth again.

Erebus, nearly forgot, they did good. Really good.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

Well, the crazy season finally finished......
Not surprised by some not being invested as in the past, pretty hard compared to the luxury I've had attending SMP and the Mountain incl my involvement with BRT.

Being there was the bonus - the SMP racing had quite a few good moments and racing.
Some were quick as ala ADP and others were backwards for a while like Tickford.
IF you can believe Ryan they were already sacrificing some SMP races setting up for Bathurst, he sure came on faster the last 2 rounds there, in the wet he was ripping it.
Overall SMP makes for good racing and its size whereas Bathurst here's my observation.

Love being there, its the track and race of the year for me.
S5000's were brilliant seeing big fast open wheelers getting accustomed to the track.
I actually thought these guys must be freaking out hitting the chase at that speed for the first times (and we saw what occurred as well) - really hope this field increase's and still races there you just got to see them live.
Transam is pretty good as well, at least a newer form of ol skool Sport Sedens - loud and fast, this is well worth watching.
TCM obviously ticks so many boxs.
Get rid of those dual cab utes period, absolutley waste of money and time despite them with V8's now.
Have no care for 86's might I add but its a large field they keep that going no doubt.

The SC race, well for those number of hours with hardly a Safety Car TBH it was boring, the realibility of these things now is great and with just a field of 25 cars the gaps are massive and its just looks like follow the leader. (over taking is all about the undercut more than on track tussles)
Hardly any dicing, the odd spate here and there by 2cars for eg......
Really its just not good enough for me.
Thankfully more safety cars came to be the last couple of hours BUT thats what we needed for some track action.
Sure I love seeing a car racing away in the distance but sure like to see more racing behind the front runner ie Chaz.
I mentioned online with some here they should incl Super2 on the grid.
14 more realitively quick related cars.
IMO this makes complete sense and will enchance action the entire 161 laps but whatever just a dream.

Got to say WAU gave Chaz/Lee a cracker car, even with tyre soon to fall apart he regathered the lead with absolute pace it was perfect as much as its a opel.
I was disappointed by DJR, expected ADP to be much stronger, Davo just isn't strong enough, their pit release upon his mate hitting him says it all for me.
Glad Cam/Moff got through for P2, I mean thank christ for that.
No matter like him or not JC/Randle recovered very well.
BRT well, things just weren't right the day, something was amiss in the rear end for it wasn't hooking up as well as the previous days.
The lack of safety cars early on set them back, for having made the call to come in just a few laps later safety car came out, just couldn't recover the places after that.
9th for new 1 car team you'd expect they were happy enough but TBH they know could/should have been a Top6 for sure so they are bit disappointed.
They have showed up a number of long timers in the garages.

SVG winning the season was a given with all the changes our Fords went through.
I don't think he'll have it as easy next season imo, ADP will be better, Cam fingers crossed they get consistant ?????, WAU possibly x 2 with Percat, Errerbus x 2, BRT/Slade I'm confident will get a podi or 2 in '22.
Yer got to say errorbus are a better team with the 2 young newbies.
Getting their set ups pretty good and speed as we've seen.

Observation, crowd was doen as expected, I liked that for the ease of moving around
The change from the Supercheap to Repco naming rights was quite weird.
Bad timimg for Repco a covid disrupted new relationship but they have a long long way to go in creating the buzz/supercheap style/influence at the track.
Comparing a "retailer" to a "trade" based business isn't apples for apples but that where the big R wants to compete in todays world for growth.
They have tried before but nowadays they have alot more resource buts its the people in the background that need to step up and we shall see whats to become.
They pretty much did similar to SCA - tweaked a little bit but nothing that you observe and say yer wow thats a good idea.
CL Champs 2019 for the 6th time
    and EPL 19/20 Champs......

So another CEO bites the dust. Seamer has resigned. Tough gig, I really don't know how you can bring this series back.

Surely that would be a conflict of interest? The fact that he doesn’t fully own the race team anymore doesn’t change his association with the triple 8 engineering group.
