Leaked 2023 pictures and some spec talk.

Skip through the usual YouTube influencer rubbish. Stangmode does indeed get to attend big Ford launches. Could be some reliable hints in this

Thanks Ian, I watched this yesterday.

I know it is just an artist concept impression but I'm not loving the new look based on this.

I hope Ford sends off the last ICE variant of the Mustang with some aggressive, but sleek styling.

What I did like was the more upmarket and premium interior. Cheaper-looking interiors with hard plastics will never cut it with any car/model now.

The current Mustang interior was a nice place to be but the game has moved on. Especially if the asking price is mid $70k's plus.

There aren't really any cheap used Mustangs of the current generation. Even 2016-17 models are still asking $50k+ or much more in the used market.

If you had bought one you really have nothing to complain about, resale-wise. Still a very desirable vehicle.

The V8 Hybrid, if it materializes will be interesting. My assumption was that the 2.3 T engine would become the hybrid and be shared with the 2023 Ranger.

Why would people want this? In one word, torque. It is predicted the peak torque figure is upwards of 800 mn. That's well in excess of both the current 2.3T and the 5.0 power plants. It will be much cheaper to run too.

Sound for me will be the issue. The current FN V8 is one of the best factory-sounding modern Ford's I have ever experienced. A Hybrid V8 may provide the best of both worlds but the complexity involved concerns me.

On the other hand, if a hybrid V8 was developed and used I would like to see this shared with the Ranger.

    Completely agree.

Jem, a former member commented on 6G that he didn't originally like the new front but has come around.

He was usually very accurate. Youseff drew my attention to his post.

I do like the interior if it's along those lines.

I was expecting a new shape for some reason where as that seems like a facelift.

Very clear Ford are all in on this electrification so there is no doubt the end of ice will be in G6 trim.

Found stangmode a pretty reliable source. He'll attend the shows n speak with ford reps n share that through YouTube.
As for the Stang, I'm like most not a fan of the front if it comes out like that, wouldn't expect it to. As for the rest, I've got no complaints
