Yeh I am expecting around $90k. Given that I own Stormie (PX2 Ranger), and I have a buyer for him, this will be a pretty good deposit. Justin and the team have delivered the Raptor that we wanted and I have seen one in white so I am willing to take the plunge. Just want to see what the factor bullbar will look like so I can make my final decision. Also have good guy with finance, and he will give me final permission......I hope.

gonna be easy over triple figures with the usual extras I'd have then add rego insurance......
Ford has joined the ARB offerings which is great ala Toy company had done years ago.
So those BB prices can vary from $400 +
I'd need the rear roller shutter - another $400
Rhino racks from the Ford is $508.
    F/R Mats $185
    Extra Large Mud flaps $284
    Dust seal kit
I'm sure I can find a few more add ons....

    Just cancelled my Ranger order.

I ordered a Raptor last October with the option of changing to a Wildtrak at any time.

Still no pricing, and can't guarantee when I'll have a car.

I'm also hearing rumors Ford have jumped on the bandwagon and adjusted pricing up twice before disclosing it.

Wildtrak over 80k DA, Raptor 100k DA.

It's too much money for a truck and im not hanging around waiting to see if the rumours are true.

Instead i've just sold the AU for what it cost me, 60,000 ks later lol and bought a 1 owner very low K 2014 FG2 LPI 3 Seat ute in Color Petroleum (dark grey).

I'll sit out the semi conductor issues and new model flurry and reassess my position in 12-18 months.

I want to be in the position to walk into a dealer, drive one and negotiate, right now i can't do any of that.

Tell you what, this FG2 brings back so many thoughts about how damn good these things are, it drives like a brand new car with limo ride quality.

    Something Twincabs will never have.

I might just make this thing my long termer and do XR6 suspension and wheels.

    I think a wise move 4Vman now IL6man......

I think the new RR is a brilliant bit of kit for those happy to pay RRP +.......I'll sit back watch for a while for me.
Keen the Everest info comes out tonight - damn shame all this price goughing occuring for this new product being SUV should be a decent looking one compared to the previous gen and very nice.
Hope it really sells well depending on stock and price.

Can understand where you are coming from Norm. I will wait and see what the final price and dealer reactions are. Some dealers are still pretty good whilst others will push the pricing. That never changes. I am also happy to wait, but will be getting one.

You could do a lot worse than an FG2 LPI Ute. Brilliant power train actually. I drove an FG2 G6E for 500 km on a country road trip and it was fantastic. It had more punch off the line than the turbo.
Watch the XR6 suspension. It may spoil your limo ride quality. Just improve the dampening and use sway bars to improve body control and stability in the corners. Maurie's your man for advice in that area.

Personally, I was really excited about the new Raptor, but the Platinum Everest is something else. The mind boggles of what could have been with the Raptor V6TT in that.
Either way, they won't be cheap. The new Sport variant is going to be popular I think.
