Shipping is just OTT in demands world over, OE's been trying to pump out builds then to have them in holding yards/paddocks due to shipping lines booked out.
We used to see it here at times years ago in some case's build too many lack of sales they sit in the paddocks on the sitting in the paddock eg.
With the parts supply delays its a long way yet to get back to some kind of new normal for now Dealers and OE HQ's have learnt more about selling without inventory.
Consumers will adjust, some just will end up buying a near new low k example instead of the long wait list.
Don't think we will see new sales yards as they once were pre covid but that may depend on the coming economic climate bubble slowing bursting that may reduce new car sales coming into 24 possibly.
