the name won't matter to the majority of sheep, price is all that matters as long as Ford can break the public stigma buying from them and back it up with improved customer service..
The usual suspects will have more options coming through so lets see whats to become.

Orders open now, pricing to start at 80k plus drive away.

    Thoughts.

Lost me. It's $10k more than the bigger, faster, longer range with a better charging network Tesla. Can only charge at 109kw which slows down trips as well (Tesla does 250kw).

They got the pricing wrong for me.

This isn't good news then. Not being in touch with this.psrt of thr market I was hoping 80k was reasonable.

    Seems not

The small battery RWD is more expensive than the Long Range Model Y. Unless you hate Tesla, there is no way you'd buy this. Even the Hyundai Ioniq 5 is better value.

Same. I paid $85k drive away for the highest specification twin motor prestige model (Volvo XC40 Recharge). Admittedly, Volvo has since increased the RRP price by another $4-5k.
The Mustang E GT which is similar in size and spec I believe was the only variant I was interested in and its starts from $108k plus on roads and LCT etc....

Even if I based a comparison on the Mach-E Premium at $92,990, its a lower spec's proposition with substantially less power, torque with only a single motor (216kW/430Nm vs 300kW/660Nm). It just wouldn't make sense unless you just wanted the Ford regardless.

I hope it does well, regardless as it has done in the US. The Mustang brand will help somewhat but there is already stiff competition and is set to become even more intense in late 2023-2024. If the Mach E was available here in late 22 or early 23 it may have faired better

It's not worth enough to Tesla to redesign it now.

They have many RHD dashboards, etc, ready to go with no cars for them anymore.

    Shambles!
