The current aero change may have gone too far but thats making up for what has been a disaster of an engine program.

Ryan has effectively taken over with herrod to take a back seat where his knowledge is more suitable.

There has been much noise about the engine side of parity because there hasn't been any solutions put forward.

Its hoped DJR involvement will solve this in the off season because there has been a distinct lack of engineering involved thus far.

Most of the engine issues have been covered up.

The latest, a harmonics issue thats causing starter motor failures.

Oh. T8 have a fix for the power steering rack issues. On top of the 10k per rack they want to change an additional 5 k for the fix.

An alternative rack being trialled now costs 7.5k total.

BRT have confirmed JC in their no2 car.
Nice now a 2car team though I still question why him but we know why.

Unless I dreamt it there has been further devopment on the DJR, Herrod situation. The people I spoke to at the track seemed to point to the fact Herrod might actually be out. Tits on a bull were mentioned but the press at the time didn't seem to support this. Rather just more involvement by DJR and notably Ryan himself.

A week on and it's now suggested DJR have taken 100% control. Herrod is out. Please let this be true.

Nothing this man touched really ends up being any good. Since day one the Herrod brand has stood for taking someone else's work and rebranding it as his own.

I am famous for my quote, I wouldn't take a wheelbarrow to herrod to fix so yes I'm biased.

But not blindly so.

This new raptor tune up kit of his actually sounds pretty good. If I had a raptor I would be conflicted. I would have to see if someone in Melbourne would pretend to own my car and take it to him so I can stand dignified in my ongoing boycot of the service.

That is till I found out the tune isn't his. Fuck me. He doesn't learn.

Can anyone explain to me why if you had a Ford performance tune you wouldn't market it as a Ford performance tune?

That has more attraction than herrod. I should have known better I guess.

Interesting re Herrod - have not had anything to do with him, so cant really comment. Wouldnt mind getting hold of a Godzilla, so may have to deal with him.


I find it interesting that after the 3 days of wind tunnel testing there has been no mention in here or FF. Not that they have really released anything as yet apart from a couple videos showing it being done - anyone heard any inside goss?
