The rebel rim, then T3TS, BA2 GTp, BF GTP are my picks. There are a couple of good designs along the way, but in general I think HSV do better with rims. The black GT in this thread looks great in part because of the ride height reduction but I definitely think the 20s suit the FG.

Ive spoken with Ian on this one once before but FPV need to go up 5% in aspect ratio on all their tyres, HSV run 5% more sidewall for any gived Dia then FPV, its one of the reasons HSV's Wheel/Tyre packages look to fill the guards more, FPV 19's look like they're clad with rubber bands...

The other issue is that you hit a pothole, you end up ruining a tyre, or buckling a rim
I have cut 3 tyres and buckled 2 rims in 60,000km with these 19's
All lack of sidewall i believe

Yep spot on. I wonder how difficult it would be to recalibrate the Speedo to go up 5% aspect ratio? What other impact would this have including gear ratio changes..? DSC? ABS?

One of the reasons why the B-series stance was better was the rear wheel offset. The rears on the FPV's where different to the front from memory which meant they looked staggered, but also could not be inter-changeable. This was done to improve the stance over the AU model apart from the T3 TS50 from memory. I believe FPV received feedback on this and have addressed this with the FG.

It’s a case of be careful for what you wish for I imagine...

I personally don’t like the stance on the FG at all from factory. If you don’t want to change the factory wheels like me, one method that helps to improve the look is by dropping the ride height, even if it only slightly. I would recommend that anyone considering doing this only use coilovers and not just lowered springs on an FG.
