888 to change appearance in 2012

"TeamVodafone boss Roland Dane has promised V8 Supercars fans a fresh look to its all-conquering Holden Commodores for the 2012 V8 Supercars Championship.

Now in its sixth season with Vodafone sponsorship, the Commodores of Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes have traditionally run prominently fluorescent red and silver schemes.

Last year, the team toyed with an idea of a black carbon look, but decided to retain its successful red/silver combination.

While team owner Dane would not give away too much detail, he did promise that the TeamVodafone Commodores will have a fresh feel for the 2012 season."

I think a yellow scheme would suit 888 but I think this is the last year of the Holden contract so perhaps a huge departure from team red might indicate 888 are looking to do something different with COTF

If last year was anything to go on the only change they need to make is the words 'see ya' on the back bumper.

888 are the most obvious to move to a new brand in 2013 Dane always says that he goes where the money is. Smart man.

Thats what you get staying with a cheap telco in this country - pity 888 don't have similar suppliers !
Gawd I hope we can take it to them this season and win before COTF.
