Territory/Ranger hybrid

Not sure how the Everest will go in Australia compared to the some of the other off road segments. This car (to me) seems like it is more for Asian and poorer euro markets. But I've really said to much.

Fundamentally, with the 180+ countries Ranger will be sold in, this will primarily meet the demands of those markets you suspect.

There seems to be rumour/hope that there will be a more upmarket variation that will closer target the Prado locally.

Mind you most people who buy these off road SUV's only really use them as shopping trolleys so who know what will happen.

My sister certainly does, but my BMW was bought for the snow, and to tow a boat (18 foot long, fibreglass).

I think if Everest took cues from the Territory, it could do quite well. It would also open the market for a Kluger type vehicle, with the 2.7 V6 sold in other world markets, but built in Australia.

Thought you were talking bout ranger SUV and the 2.7
