002's road trip for a wedding

Well yesterday the big girl and I travelled 1125km to do a wedding in Adelaide (tomorrow). Of course it was raining when we left home and part of the way over - and road works into the bargain! So this morning, just starting to rain here, this is the sad state she's in. Naturally as soon as it stops she'll get a proper tub and be ready for duty tomorrow. More pics will follow .... but not until she's presentable again!

No no Maurice ... the car going to SAFD is already fully prepared and locked away under a car cover so when I get home from holidays (Townsville next week) I only have to jump in it and drive it to Eastern Ck.

Now I was a bit disappointed that my usual white (bridal) car wasn't required as Kevin naturally wanted to take the bride (his elder daughter Linja) in his TS. So I had to be content with just the bridesmaids ... life's tuff some times !! LOL.

I'm so jealous of those twin pipes...

I actually like seeing pics of cars like the tl all filthy, just shows its driven rather than hidden. Good stuff.

A little later ... with the ceremony over ... the Bride and Groom stole off on their own ... or so they thought. Lucky they even made it to the reception ... looked for a while like they were going to be late!!!

We have personally thanked Jeff but I would like to publically show our appreciation for making our day so special. And travelling nearly 3000km to do it!

This has been over 12 months in planning and Jeff was keen to be involved from the time he acquired that amazing TL. The pair of monsoons were a perfect compliment to each other.
Originally Jeff and Therese were going to have a short holiday here but time changes plans and Therese was supporting family interstate. Jeff fulfilled his role and then some - he assisted as a part of our family in any way that he could and have our dearest respect.

Even a little rain did not spoil the day. The cars were certainly a talking point well into the night!
Show: T3 TS50 Monsoon - build 015. Auto, ESS, Sunroof, CSC brakes, custom boot and now....no towbar!

Ride: KE Laser TX3 2WDTurbo, the red rocket......What crisis?
