Thumbs up Non Standard EB GT

I had a real nice ride in a 418 cubic inch EB GT yesterday, it fries the tyres quite easily in 4TH
gear, with the showery weather around Perth yesterday, the owner decided not to show me how well it goes in 5TH gear!!!!
Best of all it looks like a factory fit engine, the EL GT uprights, calipers & discs pull the car up very well indeed.
It still uses the EB GT diff with a little modification, as the owner stated "this is how all GT's should perform"
He got no argument from me.

Spoke to the owner about joining us on the forum, that way he can tell us all about the car.

    Is this James's GT?

I have read his thread on the other forum and it is an awesome car.

Yep, gone from a 351 Windsor to the 418.
Goes real hard & then settles down & behaves like a 302 in traffic, no overheating issues, very calm idle, the ultimate street sleeper!!!
James has also informed me, there is a plan for MORE horsepower.

I still think the eb gt is the best looking modern gt of them all, and unlike the fpv version they are very limited in numbers.

Would love to own one one day. The James has modified his is pretty much exactly how I'd want one.

Mate, James has me thinking as well, one original EL GT, & one built to satisfy the "chrome bumper" boys.
Then again a Sprint is less weight & more fun!!!
Ah, what the heck, I may as well buy another EL GT & have the trifecta, one original, one as a T3 Spec & one as an animal!!!

There is a bit of Tickford Mafia going on, over in WA @ the moment.
A couple of supercharged EL GT's, a few Big Block EB GT's a few Big Block XR 8's.
A couple of heavily modified T Series cars as well.
I should get off my bum, & find out what's going on over here!!!
Also a TE is for sale in WA, still trying to find out what series, what color, what options.
FIFO is a bugger of a lifestyle sometimes!!!!
