FMX Park Neutral Switch problems with XC 351c

351c with FMX box running and removed from ZH Fairlane (column shift) and put into my XC wagon.

Everythinhg hooked up and can only get motor to turn over via shorting it not via the key.

I believe the FMX ran the NSS under the t-bar but coming oput of a column shift where might I find it?

I have the standard 4 pin plug plugged in

Thanks in advance for any advice offered. Or if somebody it local to Jimboomba Qld and wants the job (paid of course) then let me know.

    Cheers
    Linc

As far as I can recall the inhibitor switch is on the side of the transmission. If you have plugged the multiplug in I can see no reason why it would matter whether it is column or floor shift. Was the XC an auto before you did the swap? The only thing I can think of is the transmission wiring loom is incompatible between whatever the XC originally had and the FMX.

It was a factory 8 that was robbed of its driveline at some stage and was running a 6 until I put motor, box and harness in.

My thoughts exactly mate regarding the 4 pin factory plug. Hmmmm I hate being a frigging spastic when it comes to wiring :-(
