Surely being the last has to buy some saving grace!

I wanted another GT and I still cant believe it wont be part of the ending which I rate as criminal but after reading Daves post an XR8........ ohh this is tough!
I know mate, but as a long time wagon consumer.. (over 6 from memory) its a problem for me. I dont begrudge Ford pulling the pin on them, i completely understand the economics of it, but the Sedan has provided a significant compromise for me over the past 4 years, if im to put functionality over form on my next purchase it wont be from Ford...

It doesn't have to have a "badge" - GT means zippo to me - the car HAS to DRIVE! An XR8 Sprint, if it has to be badged, would do the trick for me - just has to have the 351kW engine.

No prize for guessing what car they were referring to ... OWN THE ROAD ...

I hear ya Norm - luv my wagons and have heaps over the years - the Territory is NOT a replacement for me as it's driving dynamics are just not up to scratch compared to my AU Fairmont wagon.

Yeah but you are unique. Tickford means SFA to most too but there you go.

Yep, we already have a near new SUV so a second one is out of the question.
The thing that REALLY pisses me off is that the VF boot is a lot bigger than the FG's, and if you Add LPG the Falcon boot halves in size while VF is unaffected..

FML without a wagon on offer Ford really make it hard for people who need carry space AND cheap running costs to buy their products sometimes.

Got to pay credit where credit is due, Holden's breadth of range has a solution or option for every need.

Ford win with their drivelines hands down but that's it, i really hope FH offers something worthwhile.. if it makes it to production that if.

I thought I changed your bitter to happy. Did you change it back?

Yes the VF I must admit goes a long way to being the best available in the current market - if I could just come to grips with the look of it - guess once again I am spoiled there by the AU. LOL.

    :-P

It is. Hence why I added the second hand bit. Now I know some won't entertain a second hand one if it is to be a keeper but from where I am sitting, I think I will require TWO Falcons, one ute and one sedan.

Then the hard part is deciding whether you want the V8 in the ute or the sedan!

Aaah...really? I went from an AU wagon (and what a horrid car that was) to the SZ Titanium and there is nothing the AU did better than this Territory can. Save for being able to jam more crap in the cargo space. It's like an XR6 SUV, for mine.
