This was my father's first brand new car and it was my first car. I inherited my passion for Ford like so many other from my Father. No new Ford purchased by my family has ever been sold by us.

hahaha

I love a car retaining its originaility
I think it is awesome to keep it as it was built
2002 T3 Manual Naroma Blue TS-50 (049)Sunroof, Premium Sound, Black/Blue Leather, Brembos
I have 289 to build. Not sure I can put it in her and to be honest it's not just my decision to make. I have to convince my brother on this aspect.
I vote for keeping it original mate. Not enough people do, someone has to preserve these cars. It looks awesome just the way it is.
I vote to leave it as is.
Now, lets find you a nice mustang for that 289!
That’s a beautiful wagon Ian. I think that it is incredible that you have managed to kept it in the family and still have it in its original condition. My Dad owned a XB Falcon 500 Wagon 250ci which I was quite fond of. Unfortunately he chose to trade it on an Escort for my sister instead of selling it to me. I ended up buying a XY Panel van for my first set of wheels instead.
I tried to find Dads XY a few years ago... To the best of my research it was written off shortly after he sold it in 1981.... :-(. Im trying to find pics of my first car @ 18; Flame Red 1977 XC GS 351 4spd. As i worked at Dulux at the time it was stripped and repainted then used as a promo vehicle with their newest 2 pack refinish product, won best std paint at a car show.

Would love to see pics if you find it Norm. Colville I think you have a pretty special car in your past too???
Rippa wagon Ian and just in my teen days ! Leave her as she is I say.
A mate had a white one and I was so jealous of the mug and here were the mods of the times :
Hotwire mags with oversized rubber, she looked tuff as nails trust me.
Genie headers twin system nice chrome tips.
She went like a cut snake ! never forget that Ford.
