    My AUIII XR8 in blueprint with automatic transmission and Blue Momo wheel. 173 000

    Welcome mate - nice XR8 220 I had one in Meteorite great bit of kit. Enjoy the beast and also good to see another Blueprint example join the fold here.

    Looks nice mate. Love the au xr's, have had 3 of them now! Blueprint is such a nice colour.

    Yeah I love it choice came down to a Manual AU3 XR6 VCt in Narooma blue for 6999 with 185 000 test drove nicely and on the test drive saw saw the AU XR8 4 lots up in moorooka for 7999 asked the guy with the XR6 if he would go down to 5900 which he wouldn't so went and looked at the XR8 drove it and was in love .

    Only annoying issue with it is that its lowered on superlow springs and its scrubbing out on the guards when you turn full lock and try to go up say a drive way. Mechanic reckons its running like a 6 cylinder spring in the front. So at some stage that needs some work. But aside from that cannot complain

    Great looking AU XR8 mate, that is a common problem with the AU when lowering the front the tyre can catch the inner guard on full lock, it has happened to me once so now I just make sure to be very careful when approaching a angle like that on full lock.

    it doesnt look overly low to me..

    is it the lip it catches on? if so is there a chance of getting it rolled slightly?

    I had my guards rolled before they got warped, no more catching or scrubbing on full lock now! Great peace of mind for not many $$$
