Tyres for AU Series 3 XR8

Hi guys and gals this coming april I will be getting some badly needed rubber for my car. I am spending roughly $200.00 per tyre and I am looking for some people's advice and experiences with other tyres.

I am toying over Bridgestone RE002s or S001s or perhaps michelin sports (cant find anyone who has tried these but reviews suggest good tyre). Ive herd opinions on Toyo Teos but I am wondering what other tyres people might sugguest. Driving style is cruising but wanting to have really really really good grip. Because I do plan to hit the drag strip at some point and being an auto as well I am wanting something I can get good grip with as well.

I don't think you'll get the tyre you're after for $200.

I use mainly Michelin Pilot Sport 3 in 245 40 18 and 275 35 18 and they are fantastic for everything you dscribed but are over $300 a corner.

Another vote for the Michelins. They're on the BF in 235/45 R17, and are simply awesome. I'll replace them with the same tyres again, no question.

I get ripped severely in the bush for tyres - sometimes there's benefits for city dwellers.

What they like for tire life and wear? do they wear out fairly quickly or last decently?
