It would have been nice to crack 300 RWHP, with a standard stroke standard bore EL GT, but the weather is very warm & humid here in Perth at the moment.
Pretty happy with the results, big car little engine, it needs all the Torque it can get. Now I wonder if they turned the climate control off during the dyno run?
What did you do to it to get it to make so much torque?

Camshaft Design, I wanted more torque for power down out of the corners @ Barbagallo.
The Tubular GT 40 intake manifold, also helps with this. The camshaft was custom built in the US.
It also has custom Trick Flow alloy heads on it, these are the Second Generation 170cc "Fast as Cast" heads.
I got these heads from the camshaft builder real cheap, the AUD$ was high & the US economy was in the gutter.
They are also "prototype " heads, if you look closely, you will notice there is no "Trickflow' logo on them.
The dyno operator also commented on the torque of the engine.
Needless to say, I'm very happy with the engine!!!

It surprised me, everyone you talk to who is involved in E series says the 5L isn't much chop, but that looks like it would be very nice to drive with all that torque.

Have you got a J3 to tune the ECU or have you got an aftermarket ECU?

I like the E series GTs.
