Question Late BA/BF/FG water pump and pipes onto EF/EL Block

    Hey Brains Trust,

Straight-ish forward question, do Late BA/BF/FG 6 water pumps fit the EF/EL block? Can I use a BF heater pipes (with modification around the back of the block), do they clear the standard exhaust manifold?

I'm part way through doing a BBM/Serpentine belt conversion on my ED Fairmont and my donor EL engine's water pump heater pipe has about had it.
Called Ford today and the pipe is now obsolete and after calling Repco, Bursons and Rare Spares, no one is making these (unless someone can advise me?)
I know, I could goto the wreckers and get another second hand one, but these things are getting upto 20 y.o. now and most will have seen better days.

I'm up for a water pump as it is and as you can see on the pic's below, the BF water pump pipe is held in with a clamp, much the same as the thermostat housing pipe, so with either using a BF/FG pipe or cutting and shutting one, I figure I can work around this issue.

More than happy for other peoples thoughts on this one!

    Matt

Yeah, Pumps are a dime a dozen, the pipe is a whole other story and the original question.

I have done the mod using an FG pipe.
