    new FPV 5.0 dipstick !!!!

well to cut a long story short , I have just noticed the 2nd dipstick break in our FG GT @ 35000 km, apparently there is a new steel one available . DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO GET ONE ?
otherwise i'll be forced to buy another plastic ended one and put in the boot , leaving the broken one fitted to the engine .
that wont eliminate the chance of breaking another though as plastic fatigues wherever it is and can be broken off in one dip .
NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT THIS DISMAL PART BY FPV .

You may need to find a 2014 build vin to get one.

Should be an updated part number in the system, but it wont show unless you put the later vin in.

Find a dealer with a 2014 in stock and borrow the vin or sido off it!

Seeing how parts go through many variations through the life of the car it shouldn't make a difference in the year of the model (unless it stops the car working). I bet if Ford could save a few cents on the part the customer would get the cheaper part without any BS.
