    updated pics care of drive

    Images care of Drive.com.au

Looks as though XR8 gets the extra led to make the dual led setup in the headlight?

Also note the FPV wheels on XR8. Must have atleast a brembo option somewhere.

Also it has some sort of blip on the windscreen under the mirror, rain sensing wipers or lane departure warning? Im betting rain sensing wipers (cheap).

The GT wheels on XR8 was a sure bet, no way they'd miss that opportunity to reduce costs.

is it just me or does the bonnet bulge look wider. Keep in mind they had to retool the bonnet because the front cut off is different to FG.

I can't wait for this car to come, I feel like a kid in a lolly shop.

Territory Titanium gets side steps standard again (by the look of it)

Was thinking the same thing, does look wider at the rear. and "maybe" 2 nostril vents towards the front??

I think you will find the XR8 bonnet bulge goes further back too.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

I feel a little overwhelmed at the moment with excitement.

This is potentially the last V8 I'll ever buy, not to mention the last Australian one.

Would it be safe to say that they will keep FG2.5 wheels across the range? The G6E has current G6E rims on it, the only car on that truck that looks to have different wheels is the Territory Titanium.

I can already hear people crying about them keeping the same rims. If that was the plan why did they change rims on FG2.5's? Unless of course they changed to a cheaper supplier somewhere.

Ford have "hand-me-downed" rims (along with a lot of stuff) for as long a i can remember, it would be a break in tradition to do anything differently now.
Plus the S/C rims are not that old by Ford standards.
