    Ford Falcon Fairmount EL

    Hi everyone

    I need help with my EL. I need to replace lower ball joints.

    Can someone please recommend where i can find it, or maybe recommend which ball joint will also work ?

    I bought the ball joints for my mechanic to do but he couldn't get the originals out to press new ones in, so he ended up replacing the whole sub axle assembly which came assembled with new upper and lower ball joints.

    I understand what you saying but I would like to just get the balljoints. Can u advise where to get it . I am actually in south africa. The el was manufactured in Australia and sold here but our ford agents dont stock the part anymore. The car needs to get a warrenty of fitness and failed as they said the lower ball joints are problematic.

    I've got a set of genuine Motorcraft ones that are new as we didn't end up fitting them to my car, I've got a full set upper/lower for both sides which you can have for free, PM me your name and address on the forum and I'll send them on Monday. It might take a while to get to you though.
